What's New

Daily Journal Prompts for January 2007

Have you been thinking it would be nice to keep a daily journal? Or have you tried with no success? For the month of January, I am sending out a daily journal prompt to get you started. You can use a journal that you already have or collect up some pages that you can bind later.

This can be a written journal or use it as an Artist's Journal! Anything goes in an Artist's Journal! Hey, it's your book - you can do what you like in it. You can share your pages, or keep them private. There will be a photo album set up on the byhandartists Yahoo website to upload anything you'd like to share. If you're a byhandartist already, you don't need to sign up for the prompts, I will send them to the list every day) If you're not a member of the byhandartists you will need to

  • sign up for this newsletter and tick the box for the daily prompts or
  • if you're already a subscriber to this newsletter, sign up by changing your subscriber preferences at the bottom of the email I sent announcing this newsletter.

Happy Journaling!

and don't beat yourself up if you don't get to your journal everyday - remember, it's your book! You can do whatever you want with it.

To join the chats and online classes you will need some Chat software. I have been using the mIRC software Cyberstampers recommends - for more information visit this link:

Don't be scared - it works really well! Hope to see you there.

The delightful Monica Black will be teaching an online class mid-month and a Valentine's themed class during the Cyberstampers Convention in late January. Stay Tuned for dates!

ATC Swap

Over the last year byhandartist Beth Ann has taken us through a rainbow of colour inspiration for making ATCs. We'd like to thank her from the bottom of our artbins for helping us create wonderful collections of ATCs as well as getting us together to share our art.
Now we'd like to thank Yogi for stepping in to take over for this non-colour portion of the ROY G BIV swap!

Although I didn't get my ATCs done, I did do some preliminary work - that'd be the title above!

Click on each of the photos below to view it larger.
