Fip Flop Heart Card

This little card really strained my brain for a few hours! What I've shown here is the basic form with little embellishment - you can add whatever you wish for embellishments! You can decorate both sides. Have fun!

Supplies you will need:

Instructions for making the Flip Flop Heart Card

Download and print the template. Cut out the template and make a test card with it. Cut on the solid lines and fold on the dotted lines. The fold on the left, folds away from you and the fold on the right folds towards you.

Cut 2 different coloured pieces of cardstock to 6" wide by 5 1/2" tall (which should be the same size as the template!).

Glue these pieces back to back using a gluestick (burnish them together well, by placing a scrap piece of paper on top and flattening with a bone folder or brayer) or use your Xyron. The "drier" the glue, the less buckling you'll have in any paper projects.

Place the template over part of the glued cardstock that you wish to be the front and mark the cutting lines lightly with a pencil. Make sure you have a new blade in your X-acto knife. Cut along your pencil lines. Your card, when flat, will look like the photo on the left.

Use your bone folder or Scor-it Board to score where indicated on the template.

Once folded flat, your card will look like this.
Use an awl to poke a hole as shown and string a heart charm using gold lame thread.
Stamp "Together forever" in Brilliance Gold ink on the front bottom left corner. Voila! Unforgettable!
